For 24 hours Amsterdam could be regarded as the Burlesque capital of the world. Our country was pleased with the visit of Dita von Teese to launch her ‘Cointreau My Travel Essentials’. For one night the House of Amsterdam, situated in a prestigious building at Herengracht, was turned into a ‘Cointreau Rendez Vous Private setting’, especially for the 150 invited guests to be present at the launch together with Dita von Teese.
In order to launch the new television Philips DesignLine 2013, Unlimited PR together with TP Vision organized an event for international press from all over Europe. Journalists flew in on the 13th of March and were received in the exclusive Andaz Hotel in Amsterdam. On the 14th of March the television was revealed by, among others, Rod White, the designer. After the unveiling moment in the Andaz Hotel, the guests were invited into three different Amsterdam houses where design, the technical and practical aspects of the product were highlighted. All three apartments are originally home to Dutch families, which created a special experience for the guests.
The Rado Design Dinner is an annually returning event where we point out the link between Rado and design. Every year we highlight a different collection or model. The dinner takes place in yearly changing locations to strengthen the view of design. For example Restaurant Bolenius, Movie Museum Eye and the Conservatorium Hotel were locations where the event was held.
Every year UPR and Orange Babies organize the “Orange Babies Gala”, which is an event that takes place on different locations each time. The goal of the gala is to raise awareness for the projects of Orange Babies and to collect money to help this organization to achieve their goal of helping pregnant women with hiv and their babies.
In 2011, illycaffè reached their 50th anniversary in the Netherlands. In order to celebrate, UPR was in charge of a leading event in the Gashouder in Amsterdam. On culinary islands, people could see all the highlights of illycaffè through the past 50 years. Together with the most important press contacts and Andrea Illy himself, it was a memorable evening. The Dutch Fashion Foundation and UPR have been working together since 2010. UPR coordinates and manages all press activities around the yearly Dutch Fashion Awards. A prestigious Fashion event for Dutch fashion talents with the power to break through on an international level. The event is attended by fashion industry influencers and is under the auspices of an international well known fashion industry jury.
